It’s been called “the most ingenious thing to happen to the feeding spoon since the invention of the airplane game,” and I must admit I’m intrigued. With this new spoon contraption by the Boon company, known for it’s intelligent modern designs for baby products, parents can literally feed their babies with one hand. Pureed foods are put in the widened, squeezable handle that serves as a dispenser, and perfect bite-sized portions are released. Crazy, right? Especially with the multi-tasking and hectic craziness that comes with motherhood, it’s kind of surprising no one came up with this sooner. As a mom myself who has personally handled way more than my fair share of pureed baby foods, I can really understand the usefulness of this new spoon… and kind of wish I could have been using one these last couple of years. Along with convenience also comes safety, as it’s BPA-free and totally non-toxic for baby. Other great stuff: comes with a protective cover for in between feedings, storage & travel, it’s dishwasher safe, and holds 3 ounces of baby food at a time.
