Arbor Day falls on the last Friday of April and what a great opportunity for kidlets to learn about growing plants and trees! Planting and caring for trees is a wonderful way to introduce the importance of our environment and is a great activity day for the kids.

You can head down to your local nursery (the garden variety, that is, not the baby nursery) and pick out a small tree for your kidlet to plant and watch grow over the years.
