Is “eeeeewwwww” a word? Is there a word in the english language that adequately describes how creepy these baby lamps are? Is there a word that adequately describes the human being who pays $99 dollars for one of these creepy baby lamps?

There are days when I wonder if I should just buy a couple of these in advance for my kids……of course it is still a toss up who will need therapy first: me or them.

Hey as long as we’re on the subject of those nasty phthalates found - amongst other cosmetics - in perfumes (see earlier post today), how ’bout picking yourself up some of the real expensive kind!

According to The Albany Democrat Herald, an Oregon father who used a stun gun (you heard right: a stun gun, folks) on his 18-month old toddler received a prison sentence of only 46 months. I’m not sure what part of that is more outrageous, the stun gun part or the 46 month prison sentence.

The father monster, Rian James Wittman of Albany, Oregon was convicted, via a plea bargain, of two counts of Assault III.

According to the prosecutor of the case,

Wittman blames the child’s mother for the injuries, Dinsmore said. But Wittman has reportedly said that he “wanted his child to be tough … to be the toughest cage fighter ever.”

At what point do we step up and pass tougher laws on those who perpetuate crimes against children? 46 months…I’m still just baffled over that….

Well isn’t this a lovely sentiment? I know that’s just exactly how I would want to be described whist procreating. People actually buy this stuff?
