Arbor Day falls on the last Friday of April and what a great opportunity for kidlets to learn about growing plants and trees! Planting and caring for trees is a wonderful way to introduce the importance of our environment and is a great activity day for the kids.

I am loving these adorable outfits from SnuggleBug Baby Boutique. They use the cutest fabrics to transform plain white onesies into gorgeous little garments. I’m still working on getting rid of all my son’s toxic plastic toys and cups and finding adequate, healthy replacements. Since he started eating pureed foods, I’ve been using -and loving - plastic bibs that allow me to easily wipe up any spills when he’s finished. Another wonderful perk of those bibs is that, unlike fabric bibs, they don’t add to the mounds of laundry I’ve got to tackle.

Well, come to find out, my beloved plastic bibs are made of PVC, a chemical-laden, toxic no-no.

However, there are actually many bibs on the market now that are wipeable and safe. These cute, simple, PVC-free Mexican Oilcloth Bibs are just one option. I don’t need anything super fancy or high tech (or expensive) to protect my son’s clothes, so these might just fit the bill.
